We all enjoyed another full-body massage courtesy of the road from Kitgum to Gulu and prepared ourselves for the conference at Lamina Adera School, Watoto Gulu. CKS not only provides education for thousands of students, they also provide two meals a day. Food is prepared in outdoor kitchens over open fires with water pumped from under the ground - an enormous task for the school cooks. Before dawn I hear the crowing of many roosters. With first light I rise to wash. The rainy season has arrived and torrential rain echoes on the tin roof.
